Molecular Sieve Adsorbent Desiccant

Molecular Sieve Adsorbent Desiccant

Van Gas Technologies molecular sieve adsorbent desiccant beads are crystalline metal aluminosilicates that contain a vast network of uniform pores and cavities. Due to this network of pores and cavities, the adsorption potential of molecular sieve desiccant is greatly enhanced. Van Gas molecular sieve adsorbent desiccant is one the most aggressive primary forms of desiccant on the market.

A unique feature of Van Gas molecular sieve is its ability to adsorb water molecules over a much wider spectrum of temperatures than any other desiccant material. Therefore, our molecular sieve dry bed desiccant is able to continue the adsorption process at temperatures which would cause other desiccants to desorb trapped water molecules.

Molecular sieve desiccant also has a much higher equilibrium capacity for water vapor under very low humidity conditions. Our molecular sieve desiccant is extremely effective in reducing the water vapor content of gases in the parts per million range.

Dew Points to -100° F may be achieved with molecular sieve adsorbent desiccant depending on the natural gas dryer design and operating conditions. Molecular sieve adsorbent desiccant has long been known for its excellent drying capacity and extremely low dusting factor. Due to the high comparative cost of molecular sieve, it is usually only recommended for specialty applications.
